Post by NoRecoil on Tue Feb 07, 2012 4:40 am

    Mazda Laguna Seca

    Format:
    Qualifying: 4 laps
    Race: Split Endurance - 2 x 110km races (31 Laps - per race)

    Grid Order:

    Race 2 - Reverse Grid

    Lobby Host:

Room 1 will be Hosted by NoRecoil
Room 2 Will be Hosted By Crimson1973
Please ensure you have someone in your room save the Replays as they may be required later.
You will also need people to take Pictures of the Results, it may be best discussed before the race who is going to - the more people able to the better as there will be lower chances of missing the results.

    Results for Round 6:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

    Drivers:
NO Restarts and NO Safety Cars- You will have to pit at this distance so a damaged car wont be the end of your race.
All drivers are reminded Look after your car and others around you, especially in the reverse grid races. Incidents will happen from time to time, if your car is damaged dont be a bad sport about it, do what you can to finish the race - a DNF due to a rage quit will always result in 0 (zero) points for that race.

Poor sportsman like manoeuvres or driving can be penalised - Race as clean as possible and aim to keep at least 2 wheels on the track at all time, cutting corners lap after lap will not be tolerated.

If your are involved in an accident ensure you warn the drivers behind you, especially if your car is blocking or on the track - saying "oh shit" is not a warning, let them know what side of the track is clear and rejoin when safe to do so.

Finally please restart your router before attempting to connect to the game - If you have not port forwarded your your router or setup a DMZ you may have a strict NAT which wont let yourself or others join the session.

If you are unsure of anything please ask below or find me on XBL, and if you cant make it to the round please notify me below ASAP.

These things should be a heap of fun around here....

I'm really looking forward to this round. Might even be able to make it for race two this week.

Recoil - Laguna Seca is 3.6km long so that would make 31 laps just over 110kms

I might be a little late today. Daughter has now started swimming lessons and doesn't finish until 1.30pm. I will try to hurry home ASAP.

Sorry to all in my room as well as recoil and my team mate Heli but unfortunately I am going to have to withdraw from this series. It seems Sundays have become increasingly difficult for me to commit and its making my life very difficult to the point where I am not enjoying it. I loved racing these little beasts however the consequences I was facing on the homefront are not worth the hassles. Once again I am very, very sorry. Good Luck all. Sad

Recoil can we swap mine an Stingray's position for race 2. The only reason that I was able to pass him was due to a lag incident... I really didn't think about it at the time, but it wasn't particularly sporting of me taking advantage of his bad luck.

loved throwing the little guy around this track! thought it was wierd i caught up to FatV8 and MrG at the end. what tyre strategy were you guys using? i had the impression your tyres were shagged hence my faster final laps. i had used just over 50% on the fronts by the end, with one pit stop.

My car was built for speed and the tyres only lasted 10 laps and I pitted in lap 14 so by the end of the race my tyres were 80%. That would be the reason you were catching me Ted.

80%? shows how well the pitstop comes in to play. i finished pretty close behind even though yourself and G were faster on fresh tyres. one more lap and i may have got past you fellas Smile
shame i lagged badly in race one. was having fun trying to drive defensive with MrG close behind, was only a matter of time before you had me G.
