Round 4 - 29th January - Twin Ring Motegi Logo

    Format:
    Qualifying: 4 laps
    Race: Split Endurance Round - 2 x 96km races (20 Laps)

    Grid Order:
    Race - Qualifying

Time: Lobbies open 1:45PM EDT (TAS,NSW and VIC time)
If your lobby is together earlier you can to run straight away.

    Lobby Host:

Room 1 will be Hosted by NoRecoil
Room 2 Will be Hosted By Ruskovski
Please ensure you have someone in your room save the Replays as they may be required later.
You will also need people to take Pictures of the Results, it may be best discussed before the race who is going to - the more people able to the better as there will be lower chances of missing the results.

    Results for Round 4:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

    Drivers:
NO Restarts and NO Safety Cars- You will most likely have to pit at this distance so a damaged car wont be the end of your race.
All drivers are reminded Look after your car and others around you, especially in the reverse grid races. Incidents will happen from time to time, if your car is damaged dont be a bad sport about it, do what you can to finish the race - a DNF due to a rage quit will always result in 0 (zero) points for that race.

Poor sportsman like manoeuvres or driving can be penalised - Race as clean as possible and aim to keep at least 2 wheels on the track at all time, cutting the final corners lap after lap will not be tolerated.

If your are involved in an accident ensure you warn the drivers behind you, especially if your car is blocking or on the track - saying "oh shit" is not a warning, let them know what side of the track is clear and rejoin when safe to do so.

Finally please restart your router before attempting to connect to the game - If you have not port forwarded your your router or setup a DMZ you may have a strict NAT which wont let yourself or others join the session.

If you are unsure of anything please ask below or find me on XBL, and if you cant make it to the round please notify me below ASAP.

    Good Luck

    Round 4 is up!
As stated at then end of round 3 ill be trying the Split Endurance setup for Motegi, we will be racing just shy of 200kms over the 2 races - this length should mix the field up a little, you will have to stop at least once its just when that could mean a position at the end of the race.

The pit entrance on this track can be a real bitch, the entry is off the 3rd last corner, is twisty and has sticky sand - so please practice your entry before the round.

    Any questions ask away

Rooms added for round 4 - 12 Per room.
The rooms are set per your total series points with the exception of Semper and Zabby, i switched you guys as having semper in room 2 wouldn't be fair to the rest of room 2 and zabby came 4 in the last race.

I have removed everyone who has no showed without a reason for 2 of the last 3 rounds.
If wilson shows up then he will be in room 1, but im not locking in a spot in room 1 if he's just going to no show.

How are people going for laps times?

I think I should be able to make it to qualifying and race 1.

I'm really sorry I probably shouldn't have committed to this series, but I really didn't think... I play indoor sport on a Sunday, and I've had a heap of early games for the past couple of weeks - so an early start, combined with the length of these races makes it quite difficult.... Not to mention me living in the future and all Shocked

Are you ready to laugh? 2:12.086 is my best clean time. I can get down to 2:11 High if I get dirty (W/O Cutting corners) I'd be interested in finding out if it's even going to be competitive.

    Laugh at you?
Maybe you can laugh at my high 13's and the consistent low 14's I am running. Though I am holding these times past lap 12 so I know I can pit fairly late without losing much time and then push hard the remainder of the race.

Sorry to those guys in room 2 that missed me after the second lap Sad

I'm just going to go and buy a replacement router tomorrow... It's done this twice in the last two online races that I've had that have been over 5 laps. I get completely disconnected from XBOX live - but I know that my internet connection is still up, so there's something weird going on with XBOX live traffic I think... Strange as.

Yeah, same thing happens to me, except I don't lose online connectivity, my router just shits itself and then comes back online within 2 seconds. Piece of shit.

Sorry for lagging today in room 2. I didn't know I was so close to my download limit and by race 1 I lost all my connection to Xbox live. Then in race 2 the same thing happened.

This would have to be my drop round.

Pitty you guys lagged out. It was outstanding racing this afternoon. Especially race 2. There were odd bumps and grinds and even a few offs, but it all adds to the flavor and makes it so exciting. Surfer and I were locked in a real battle. Coming up to the first bend on one lap, he had the inside, I had the outside. I let him pass me and slowed down, turned in and put on the power. We both passed each other twice with absolutly no contact. It was brilliant.
Thanks for the racing guys. Looking forward to next week.

Very close race for the first half of race 2 with all cars only a few lengths apart. After the pit window opened a few breaks appeared in the pack but still some very close battles as Crimson said.
    Great racing!

Todays second race was probably the most fun i have had in a race in a long time. Good clean racing except for a couple of incidents. Definately enjoy the challenge of reverse grid racing and wouldn't mind at all if it was like that all the time in our room. Anyways here are the race results

Don't worry bout it. Racing bumps happen. We can tell when it's accidental. I've hit a few guys (Mr G twice lol)
